Our Lady of Lourdes.
I am a university student studying nursing, and I am almost finished. In addition to learning the profession, I have learned other things through it.
We do an internship for each subject. This semester, I am taking a subject called Geriatrics, which has a lot to do with the diseases of grandparents, seniors, or older adults.
We were assigned to attend the San Vicente de Paul Nursing Home. I go on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Last week, a healing mass was held for the sick in front of the altar where Our Lady of Lourdes is located, which resembles a grotto where she first appeared to Saint Bernadette Soubirous in France in 1858.
This Mass is celebrated every February 11, as she is also considered the patron saint of the sick.
