Nature Sunday
Happy Sunday and greetings to all nature lovers everywhere, especially to all community members. Let's start this Sunday and the next with nature.
It feels like it's been a while since we've been directly involved in nature for any specific purpose. It used to be the case for me and a few friends. We used to go on quite frequent outdoor adventures, even going on several days in the wild on nature walks, spending the night there, and discovering all the wonders of nature.
But lately, we've been doing it less and less. It feels quite awkward and creates a deep longing for that adventure. That's how my nature-driven soul is, craving another adventure in the forest.
Because of that, today, Sunday, I tried a little adventure there. Just to satisfy that longing. I went to a remote village near the forest. It wasn't too far; I could do it in a day and return before dark.
After passing through a remote village, we were immediately greeted by the sight of a lush green forest. We can see the large, towering trees again today.
Let's delve a little deeper into the forest to discover some beautiful and awe-inspiring sights.
A small river begins to appear, its calm flow. This is the perfect atmosphere to meditate on while exploring nature. Gaze at the green leaves all around and listen to the sound of flowing water.
The forest here is still quite pristine and well-preserved. There's no pollution, and you can drink the water from the small streams within this forest without hesitation.
Look at these trees. They're big and tall. They're still quite beautiful, and if I had a professional camera, we might even see some endemic birds up there.
There are so many beautiful birds; we can hear their calls clearly. They take turns flying and perching on these large trees.
After resting under a large tree and by a small stream, we tried to delve a little deeper into the forest. No, we stopped. We saw many more birds singing along the way.
We began to encounter some interesting things in nature. Here, we call them Ara trees. The forest Ara tree has larger fruit than those found elsewhere, and this type is edible.
This is an Aren tree that grows naturally in this forest. It seems the people who live in the village often use the water from this palm tree.
The fruit is also quite large. And have you ever consumed sugar palm fruit?
Here, we process it into jelly. Ripe figs are taken and boiled, then the inner flesh is removed. We make a delicious drink or porridge from this fruit.
The forest taro has tall stems and large leaves.
And check out some other discoveries in this forest: trees with large, sharp thorns, and some interesting and fascinating insects. The insects inhabiting this forest, with their unique characteristics, seem to live peacefully here, and we will ensure that it continues to be preserved.
It was getting dark, and we had to get moving quickly to return. There were many discoveries today, and I can't post all of them here.
Finally, it was a beautiful Sunday in nature. A full day of exploring it, and it eased my longing after a long absence from a forest adventure.
I hope to do it again in the future, adventuring, camping, and exploring the forest as far as possible to discover all the beauty of nature and bring peace to my soul.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and read about my Sunday with nature.
I really appreciate all your valuable support. So, how's your Sunday going? Anyway, I hope you're having a great one. See you soon!
