quito-orange (Solanum quitoense)
Based on my research, I discovered this fruit plant, known by the Latin name Solanum quitoense. It is a type of brittle woody plant that can grow up to three meters tall. Overall, its stems, leaves, and fruit resemble eggplants. The stems and branches have sharp thorns, while the fruit has fine hairs that can also prick.
The fruit also contains seeds similar to eggplants. Young fruit is green and turns orange when ripe.
If you'd like to learn more about this plant, I have a reference for you to read here
