Morinda citrifolia
Noni (Morinda citrifolia) or keumeudee (Aceh); pace, kemudu, kudu, bentis (Javanese); cangkudu (Sundanese); koddhu, pacè (Madura); tibah (Bali) is a flowering plant native to Southeast Asia, belonging to the Rubiaceae family. Other names for this plant include noni, mengkudu (Betawi), nono (Tahiti), nonu (Tonga), ungcoikan (Myanmar), and ach (Hindi).
This plant grows in lowlands up to an altitude of 1,500 m. The noni tree grows 3–8 m tall and has white, knobbly flowers. The fruit is a compound pod, shiny green and spotted when young, and white with black spots when mature.
