Melastoma malabatricum
Senbangun (Melastoma malabatricum) is a shrub and belongs to the Melastomataceae family. This plant has bright purple flowers with hairy reddish stems, usually grows in open grasslands or forests. This plant comes from Melanesia, Japan, Australia and is widespread throughout the tropics, and can also be found in Indonesia.
