Ficus hispida
There are many local names for this fruit plant. Here we usually call it the Ara tree, in some other areas it is also known as Bisoro or Luwingan. in Latin name this plant is called Ficus hispida.
This plant thrives in several places with the characteristic of its fruit which has a long stalk and hangs and some are attached with a short stalk to the trunk. Has several types. Some have larger and smaller fruits than this.
The tree can grow very tall in some places depending on the climate. Has wide leaves and a rough texture. When the fruit is ripe it is marked by the color of the fruit skin which is yellow and some are reddish.
