Summer opening activity

I was invited to a summer opening activity at La Finquita del Arte in Playa Baracoa. Summer here is eternal, but well… 🤷‍♀

😄 It is always a great pleasure to go there, sharing with so many pleasant and creative people, and ride that route by bike.

So a group of cycling enthusiasts arranged to go there together… for me it’s about 40 km there and back, which is not much haha…

Some of us Hivers who are regulars at this photogenic spot, which hosts a beautiful socio-cultural project, have shared many images across different communities; yet each of us has our own style.

@pinero, for instance, will surely write a post about the mural painted by the children early in the morning. Very pretty, by the way.

He says he loves coconut and that coconut water is better than any isotonic drink — I believe him. I drank a big coconut myself and also ate some of the flesh, which was super soft and sweet.

While drinking and eating from the coconut and waiting for the next activity, which was visiting the Doctor’s lagoon, I started chatting with all the animals at La Finquita.

This guy, I really wanted to give him a bath and tickle him… didn’t bathe him, but yep, I tickled him.

It was necessary to converse with each of them, and I seized every moment. They gift me endless joy… 😉

I came across some puppies belonging to Negra.

I talked a lot with them, but someone else also had those powers and was enjoying it immensely…

Negra and her prince charming joined us on the trip to the Doctor’s lagoon and bathed there quite cheerfully, which gave me some very beautiful images — or so I believe.

I arrived just a few hours ago, had something to eat, took a shower, and prepared these photos to share with you.

This is my entry for the #Monomad Challenge. Once I hit publish, I’ll take a nap… I’ve spent far too long under the blazing sun. And now, besides being two‑toned, I’ve got got loads of stripes in my skin. 😄
