Pastime on the road
I spent four hours and a bit more travelling yesterday, but on the way back...
Can you see it?
That’s my muse turned into a cloud. 😍 What a beautiful face!
Ok, ok… I won’t steal much of your time with words. I need to rest, because I travelled about 180 km to a city in the western part of this island and the same back.
Since I arrived there in the late morning, I spun around like a top, running errands, sorting out paperwork that’s somehow beginning to move forward… so what you’re about to see is nothing more than an exercise: letting go of control and drifting with the lights of the road, with the sway of the bus that was carrying me back home. One of those comfortable, air-conditioned ones… so much so, I even felt a little cold.
I wasn’t thinking about much. I was playing, rather, at allowing things to unfold as they wished. I embraced improvisation, the pleasure of surprise. Each image, a small canvas painted by chance and fatigue. Random captures, as if movement itself chose what to reveal.
The highway was nearly empty, and the sky slowly darkened. I got home around nine at night. I don’t know why the journey took so long… but something in me kept on travelling.
That’s why, when I got home, tired as I was… I started by organising documents, getting ahead with forms… and then I turned to the photos. I decided to publish them.
Pick your favourite if you wish. Tell me what sensation it stirs in you. Say whatever comes to mind when you look at it.
I’d love to read you. In this shared exercise, we become entangled, and somehow, feel more free.

What drugs make you see these things? Me likes! ;)
😁
I think the drug is an empty stomach and a few luminous thoughts… hahaha… thank you.
Siempre me ha gustado hacer experimentos como estos en la fotografía .. tiene que haber algo de libertad y gozo en lo que hacemos
Experimentando se puede encontrar la propia voz. Quién sabe si un día doy con ella... gracias, @pinero.
I see vibrations, all in unison, they are united!!!
How do you take these photographs! They are great and interesting... have a wonderful and productive trip!! Hugs!

It’s simple, I took them with my phone in Pro mode, leaving the lens open for a full 30 seconds without worrying about what it would capture. I just pointed it toward the road or any light source inside the bus. I didn’t mind the shake of my hand either, since I was on a moving vehicle. That way, you’ll always get something unique.
Gracias por tus buenos deseos. 😍
Iluminada.
Igualmente!!! Muy buenas tardes para vos!
Hi @nanixxx, here's the image I like best... it gives me serenity...
I hope you've had a good rest... Happy Wednesday.
That little cloud over there looks like it’s spinning—it seems cheerful and calm. I like your choice. I also thought about the two realities: the lit part and the one in shadow. Both speak of what we see and feel, and of what remains unseen, yet can still be felt. 😉
Thank you, Happy Wednesday.
Hello @nanixxx, I hope you've had a good rest. The photograph reminds me of a Rothko canvas... that's what came to mind when I saw it. It reminded me of an exhibition I saw years ago and the feelings it evoked in me... It's true that there is light and darkness... but what I see is harmony... and an oil painting because of the texture. It's a random image... beautiful.
Have a nice day. 😀
😍 I’ve rested a bit, but I woke up with a bit of a headache. Let’s see if drinking plenty of water helps. I also think I need a bit more sleep.
And yes, funnily enough, I was thinking about that yesterday, I don’t know how to paint, but this feels like a way of doing it. Some of them really do look like oil paintings.
Thank you!... you too.
You're working hard, so take care of yourself... drinking water and sleeping are not bad advice.
Of the paintings, sorry, of the images, the ones I like best are the ones that look like oil paintings. You're an artist. 😎
😅 artista inventorista
Sí, descansaré. Muchas gracias.
🤣🤣 me mataste, de nuevo!!
Inventorista
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You reminded me of a time when I used to take a lot of photos with these effects!
Good for you!
😃 Well, it’s a good exercise—the result always surprises you. Go for it!
I see a lot of chaos and confusion, but also clarity and order. My crystal ball tells me the future is bright for a young lady who works to achieve her dreams.

Oh, my dear friend… it brings me so much joy to hear this prediction. And I have to thank you for always supporting me.
The ones you chose made me think about how the threads of life tangle and eventually arrange themselves so that those who are meant to meet, do.
A big hug.
Buhito will break the rules and choose two 🦉 haha (sorry):
This represents the pure and angelic side of the world, that white light is the goodness that surrounds us and shines because it sends us positive energy to keep going day after day ❤️
Then we have the other side, the dark side. Here we can see sinister smiles surrounded by a dark and macabre atmosphere. This represents impurity, evil, the negative energy that seeks to destroy the former 😈
Which of the two will win? 🦉
Interesting and at the same time surprising interpretation you two have made of these images. The second one holds just as much balance as the first. What happened is that, inside that bus, all the energies were colliding, and you truly don’t know who’s who. There are kind and angelic souls, and others that, sadly, aren’t quite so. But for the world to hold together, all of this must coexist… and so, the souls of light always end up shining, despite the shadows.
🤗
Sorprendente...
😃
Your muse looks amazing and sorry but I don't have any words for the rest...just WOW, Pedro 🤣🤣 Really love it, yesterday in the ISA workshop we were talking about the beauty of chaos and I guess is like this pictures, mix of light and dark. Hope you rest enough 🙏🏾💙
Could you invite me to one of those workshops someday? Or to something photography-related, so I can keep expanding my horizons? Thank you! I'm glad you like these images. 😌😊
Yes, we have to prepare a safari there 💙
Me encanta esa atmósfera envolvente y maravillosa!
Es verdad, se siente así, envolvente. Muchas gracias @lulyhive.
😅 Thank you.
I think the exposure was too long - it's all blurry - can't see a thing. 🙃
Oh... 😁 Well then, it’s not visible… and not seeing is perfectly valid. That way, the mind makes other connections in its attempt to see something. Haha… thank you so much, Felixxx.
Anyway, I’ve got something for you. When I got off my transport, I took this photo.
It’s a restaurant, bar, café—a place where loud music blasts out, and it often bothers me deeply, haha… reggaeton and those awful lyrics in the songs seem to be anthems for them. Well, nothing… these are details you can’t see in the photo, but they’re here all the same.
Still the long exposure... or the cars were really fast
