I’ve often found myself blocked by the thought that I have nothing interesting to write. That’s why this challenge of writing daily—for 11 days now, with this post—has been a bit difficult for me, I won’t deny it. I was thinking about that just before 4 a.m. today, when I opened my eyes and, a few minutes later, found myself in the kitchen sipping my first glass of water.
So I’ve been reflecting on this for a while—on how dull our lives can seem when we view them that way: automatically, focusing only on what we do, rather than how we do it, what we feel, or the lessons we gather along the way.
I set the coffee pot to brew and noticed, on the counter in the centre of my small kitchen, a handful of passion fruits waiting to be pulped. And as I repeated the motion—cutting them open and scooping out that juicy, seed-filled mass with a small spoon, so it could fall into a plastic container already holding frozen pulp from the day before—I thought about these images, about what I might say of them, and about what each person who comes across this post, once it’s published, might think or feel… which depends on countless factors and just as many alignments.
I’ve managed to capture these photos in Old Havana during my visits to the Archbishop’s office, searching for important documents for a process that will likely change my life. I’ve also been thinking about how changed I already feel since I began this search, and about the lessons it has brought with it…
Now I’ll prepare myself to walk those streets again… I won’t rush it. My search continues, and with each step I take, I feel I’m being guided along the path of patience. I go with my heart pounding strongly, that much is true. I’m also certain that we mustn’t stop moving towards what we long for. And the narrow path—the one less travelled—need not be feared.

Writing everyday can be challenging especially if your a daily vibe writer. I hope to write soon maybe tomorrow. Difficult when its been 20 days straight of work doing a repeat of things day in and day out. Necessary though and my hopes are not broken despite! Hope you strive and keep the streak going Amiga. For me, I want my streak to end and go back to my normal full-time job. Take care and hope whatever life changing thing you eye happens :)
Amigo, thank you for your kind wishes. I understand what you mean. After such an exhausting day, you don't feel like doing anything at all... but try to find a little time and inspiration in simple things; writing will help you feel that everything is more bearable.

The various little signs of life in that city look really fun. Both to just witness but also capture. So much variety, from the skateboarders to the relaxed workers taking a quick moment to themselves. All mixed within that beautiful architecture
Those buildings I photographed really stand out. One is the telecommunications museum and the other is the Bacardi building.
You're right, it's all a very interesting mix and very bustling everywhere. I remember when COVID hit, it looked like a ghost town. It was very impressive.

While you wait or go through your process, these photographs show that there are as many processes as there are people, multiple lives passing at the same moment, even as you eat that piece of fruit or drink that glass of water... Beautiful photos!🤗
I hope everyone can get something good out of their processes... Right now I feel very tired and I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. But I am very grateful to you for always setting aside a little bit of your time for me, for peeking through this little window.

Processes can be fast or slow; what matters is the progress we make from them, and if it is not done now, it will be done later... without rushing!

Lo más interesante de la fotografía es que al capturar un pequeñísimo instante, lo hacemos eterno. Mientras no se borre la foto, claro.
Tienes que enseñarme a hacer el escondite para fotografiar aves. 😂
Te ayudo a conformarlo, nos ponemos de acuerdo y lo armamos en un ratico. Luego solo es acostumbrar a las aves al nuevo espacio. Te sorprenderá, pues el mismo día recibirás las primeras alegrías.

Yesterday I went out with my camera with the intention of doing some street photography, but I lacked dynamism. I can't forgive myself for walking the streets of Havana with my camera silenced in my backpack.

The question that every photographer asks themselves, sometimes without realising it, is: what is inside me that is reflected in this scene? Why do I decide to take this photo and not another?
Not everywhere do people allow themselves to be photographed like this.
