A Conversation with the Angel

I am aware that this topic may become a recurring one in my blog. Every creative person faces this moment when it seems that a white cloud envelops your body and thoughts. It is not that I have nothing to say, on the opposite, perhaps it is that there is a lot inside. Much that needs to come out, because as I have said, writing is therapy for me.

Maybe it's just the wing of an angel that protects me from myself and that's why it keeps me silent.

Maybe it's that busy loneliness that few would understand and most would identify as madness.

Maybe... I shouldn't worry and just go out with my camera to exorcise all my demons.

Maybe I just need adrenaline.

Maybe, maybe... I really don't care if you understand me or not. I just leave my trace, I leave my feelings behind a door and maybe you'll find a veil here in which you can see yours.

I am a coward... (yes, I am a coward). I didn't walk away from the main street. I couldn't. I was afraid. So much silence, blows, so much silence, the wind martyring the fabric of a flag. Too much silence and also too many graves... it was terrible.

There where my heart is, a hole was made. I stopped breathing many times. I thought about the angel who guards me. And maybe she was near... maybe she was watching over me. I choose to think so.

Que hermosas fotos , la Necrópolis de Colon un lugar increíble, aprecio mucho todas las esculturas e historia que encierra, un lugar que andaría por horas y se que vería algo nuevo e interesante a cada paso. Cómo tener miedos el lugar es hermoso y tranquilo ,pero cada cual sabe. Las fotos una pasada 👍👍

What beautiful photos, the Colon Necropolis is an incredible place, I really appreciate all the sculptures and history it contains, a place that I would walk around for hours and I know I would see something new and interesting at every step. How to be afraid, the place is beautiful and quiet, but everyone knows. The photos are amazing 👍👍

Como siempre tus fotos espectaculares y además muy bien escogidas. La mujer es protagonista en las estatuas y la soledad del recinto. Para mí siempre serás un ángel pero un ángel vivo que sueña y siente.

Beautiful photos. We all should look above and believe there are Angels looking after us and protecting us . Writing is a therapy for many. It is one for me in particular. I may not write or spell it out what weighs me down but I do it as a distraction.

No debería guastarme, pero me gusta ese lugar, no tanto por lo que representa como por las bellas obras que tiene. Ese silencio que dices me agrada, me gusta como el ambiente cambia nada más entrar y todo se vuelve tranquilo y apacible. Están muy bonitas tus fotos, le hacen honor a la belleza de todo lo que se encuentra ahí. La calle principal es muy bonita pero hay cosas muy bellas en otras, un día vamos juntas a recorrerlo jeje.

It is certainly a place full of history and art. That's why we like it. But cemeteries are just quiet, well... sometimes dangerous because this one in particular, being so huge, can hide certain dangers. That's why it's best to tour them with some company.

Yo siempre amé el silencio y la soledad de los cementerios; allí solía ir -casi a diario- cuando salía del liceo; no porque amara la muerte sino porque en medio de tanta ausencia podía encontrarme conmigo mismo y escuchar mis soliloquios mentales, enseñándome que todo lo que tenemos y necesitamos está dentro de nosotros mismos.

I always loved the silence and solitude of cemeteries; I used to go there -almost daily- when I left high school; not because I loved death but because in the midst of so much absence I could find myself and listen to my mental soliloquies, teaching me that everything we have and need is within ourselves.

Me encantaría visitar el Cementerio de Colón. Es un museos a cielo abierto. Atesora un hermoso patrimonio funerario. En estos días invité a una amiga a visitar el Cementerio metropolitano de Pinar del Río para ver la tumba de Pedro Junco, el famoso compositor de la canción Nosotros, ara poner las fotos en un post que escribí sobre él. Pero nos duele mucho este lugar así que hemos pospuesto está visita.
Tus fotos son maravillosas, debieran parecer tristes pero no lo son. Son la muestra de que la belleza y la poesía existen hasta en el dolor más duro.
Y quién dijo que no tienes nada que decir mientras salga el sol en tu ventana siempre habrá algo que contar. Así que arriba escribe que te esperamos. Y @mamani te va a ganar porque cuenta cosas muy lindas. Recién ayer la descubrí. Un saludo cariñoso para ambas.

You know what? From a close time i have changed the way i face this kind of place. Maybe it is because the life put me in several situations i have could not scape. Maybe is because i have understood the death is the only thing we have secure. I AM not sure .

Here is a Buhito who is afraid of cemeteries but still goes and would like to go at night to sneak into the parties that ghosts do when no one sees them, with the mist as if it were the foam of a nightclub.

It has nothing to do with the post haha although the word cemetery seems to bring sadness, in reality it brings eternal peace.

Beautiful pictures, all of them! All of them, all of them! It is very difficult to choose, although the angel that is in the door of the broc... brought back a special memory for me as a child. My grandfather used to take me to the cemetery since I was 3 years old, there was a similar one and I used to greet him.... memories.

The guardian angel, also called quantum double is always with you, always, you can talk to him whenever you want, I do it with mine every day.😉

You will love our Cemetery. If you come one day you will have a personalized tour, and it has some catacombs with skulls and spooky stuff. 💀👻
