SMASh 318: Huge Tree Shadows Inside a 300-Year Old Ruins

Good afternoon, everyone.

I have been offline since after the Holy Week. Our school had a lot of activities and I have been busy reviewing for my exams. Next week is another set of exams and performance tasks, so I will be busy again. It's Saturday today and before I start going over my books, I am back for another Show Me A Shadow Photo Contest post hosted by @melinda010100 and this is for round 318.
Last Holy Week, I mentioned that my mom and I went to my grandma's house and the day after that, my mom's friends visited us here in La Union. They are from Baguio City and they wanted to go to the beach. They checked in at a resort by the beach close to our house and we picked them up after they checked out. Then we all went for an Easter Sunday lunch. After lunch, we visited 200-year-old ruins in San Fernando, La Union. I am not sure if this was a church before, but it is so beautiful. The walls made of stones are still standing firm and strong. The ruins have a church on the side, which is still active. We took a few photos of the place. There are a lot of trees also and some photos of them are what I am sharing. I think these are narra or acacia trees. I am not sure but they are huge and very popular here in the Philippines. In the shadows, they look like huge roots. I took them because they're so cool so I am posting them as my entry.
