SMASh 313: Our School's Dance Performance On Our Foundation Day

Good evening, everyone.

Before I go to sleep, I am joining the Show Me A Shadow Photography Contest Round 313 hosted by @melinda010100. In my last post, I mentioned that we had a dance performance in our school; that was last Friday. It was my school's 60th Foundation Day and all the pupils in the prep and elementary departments had to perform a dance contest. We, as a 5th grader, together with the 6th graders, performed a native African dance and we won the most disciplined group. We were very happy when our teachers announced our award.

In the photos, we were about to start our dance performance and we were lined up walking before the music began. It was around 8 in the morning when we started so the sun was getting higher. You can see our shadows on the ground and I thought they looked pretty cool. So this is my entry, and I hope you like it.

That's all for tonight. I am going ahead and sleeping early because tomorrow I am joining an inter-school journalism contest. It is a group of selected pupils in our school and I am the layout artist. Please wish me and the group good luck. Thank you everyone and goodnight to all.
