Happy Wednesday to all.
Yesterday, I had no face to face classes and I was so lucky because it was my appointment to get my passport renewal. My mom applied online a few months ago because it is going to expire soon. For minors like me, our passport is only valid for 5 years and for adults, its 10 years. My mom's passport is still valid for 6 years.
My appointment was set at 3pm and we were there at the office at 2:30pm. My mom asked the guard if we were already allowed to get inside and he said yes. Mom presented my papers and then he let us get inside the office. When we were inside, it's was only us who were there. It was done so fast. They only checked my papers, then to encoding area, then they had my fingerprints and photo shoot. I did not like my photo at first so I asked the employee to take one more time, but I still chose the firs one because I looked angry on the second one lol funny.
After that, they told us that my passport will be released and sent to our house on October 10 onward. It was quick so we took a walk around the mall where the office was located and window shopped a little bit.

No, tita. I am still minor. My passport is only for 5 years. My old passport is going to expire. My mom's passport has 10 years validity so she did not renew yet, tita @grecyg

I applied to be an OFW before but I got a lil problem with some documents and then I get pregnant and pandemic, so it was still there up to now
