I have had a few days of general laziness. The weather is getting colder, and I had to take a few days to recover from the fact that an utterly insane taxi driver slightly ran over my foot the other night. Fortunately nothing seriously damaged, but enough for me to not walk and take the pressure from my foot for a few days as the little internal bruising decreased. To which Yandex Go gave me a small 400 Dram discount code for this ordeal. For context, that's about 80p, maybe around a dollar. Though I recently got my laptop, an expensive Macbook that is currently void of protection, as I await still the delivery of a few items. My gimbal, annoyingly, sits in a container yet to be opened by Armenian authorities. My laptop cases are on their way.

I got out a little bit today though, it was nice. The Christmas decorations are appearing, the weather is fresh and a little less forgiving if you are not wearing the appropriate clothing. And the trees have a beautiful golden look to them, amplified by the golden sunsets that have been taking place lately. I loved walking around today for this reason. It felt as if there was plenty of perfect lighting and composition, an ability to take a ton of photographs. I feel a lot more motivation to get out and shoot, but it is insanely annoying to know that my gimbal is being held by slow postal services. Where I could easily just go and get it myself in theory. So the videography side continues to suffer.

I discovered a place to day where I can get 35mm film developed though. Weirdly inside a huge Soviet era building, still with the star and hammer and sickle in the pillars. The first picture was taken inside this building, a very strange experience as I walked through and saw different shops operating inside: some for food, some cafes, a 35mm film photography development shop, and who knows what more lurks in that darkness? Though full of style, I am curious to roam through it more. Fortunately, at the cost of six pounds, I should get my first 35mm film containing Yerevan tomorrow. A very speedy service!

Glad your foot is alright.
Perhaps it's a sign that you should (re)watch the classic Taxi Driver? ;<)

Perhaps :^)

It was a bit of a worrying experience. Thankfully it healed pretty quickly. Can't imagine how bad it would've been if there was actual damage done.

Getting that roll of film today by the way, should be some fun Armenia pictures on 35mm Colorplus 200 to post. Actually, I still haven't posted the ones from Istanbul.

And luckily you don't need to, unless you want to write a screenplay on that topic ;<)

Looking forward to your 35mm Colorplus 200 ( sounds super retro ) pics! ;<)
