Today was about 98% walking and 2% photography. Roaming through the woodland area I discovered and shared yesterday here on Liketu. The weather was absolutely beautiful today, incredibly warm despite the somewhat strong winds that would come and go. I only managed to get through one battery as a result, feeling like my confidence today with the drone sort of just disappeared; a problem of winds and battery life, but more the constant air traffic around me that kept giving me anxiety with their varying altitudes. I never fly my drone remotely close to that sort of height for obvious reasons, but all the low flying planes coming over just really had me on edge when it came to flying just above the treeline.

Near this woodland is a golf course, one that I have photographed a few times but not in the way that I actually want to. I've had the idea of incorporating a bit more of subject and story into these photographs, and the idea of capturing some golf with an interesting composition has been on my mind for a while now. I just can't seem to find the right time to capture it! Either the weather, or my own anxieties taking over. There was a ripe condition today as well despite that wind, as some clouds floated over and cast shadows upon the golf course that shifted form. In my head I had this wonderful composition planned in which I would capture some people playing golf, being one of the few spots still in the sunlight, as if illuminated by the sun and thus casting the viewer's eyes to them. But I just couldn't seem to focus. Well, here's my attempt!

The same can be said with the leading lines of the tall grass in the field. Wanting to capture it but just losing that confidence to gain some height with the drone to really give it some perspective. Oh well, still it was a fun day of roaming the nature and seeing plenty of it! I didn't capture any photographs of the animals though, I wanted to leave them be and enjoy the weather as I did.

I thought they turned out okay though I think I see what you mean with the grass lines, just that little bit more height, or maybe a different angle?

Least the horizon lines on the first and last shots were straight XD and they're pretty nice :)
