With the sudden change in weather here in Armenia, it came as no surprise that it quickly took another big turn and dived into the sheer strength of nature in the form of storms. Strong winds, cracks of thunder, and large streaks of lightning that branch across the sky in the night. Rains as heavy as ever. Last night, despite feeling a bit sick, was incredibly relaxing due to just laying in bed and listening to the storm pass. Such a cool experience to see a storm with such intensity, never have I before. The weather continued to be a bit weird even today, with the strong winds and constant threat of rain throughout. I had to pick up a package of English tea from family, and another package that contained my 85mm F1.8 lens that I'm desperate to use lately. I have barely touched tea while here, clearly not a fan of the brands that claim to be English despite not being available there. At least now I have enough supply to last a while. Very excited about that!

Today's fun continued with the form of an evening concert, no ordinary composition, however. This was a concert focused on the beautiful music from The Lord of the Rings. I love those films so much. The concert was incredibly relaxing, the music was performed beautifully; my only dislike being a bit of a heavy use of the drums in parts, where it just doesn't quite suit the atmosphere and style of the music. But it started to be used more sporadically, more used for ambience, which allowed the main performance to be enjoyed. It lasted about an hour, starting a little late; a mostly younger set of performers with some incredible talent with the instruments they held. It was a surprise that on a Saturday this concert had a few seats remaining, to the point in which some people just gave up on their designated seating and moved to more comfortable, empty positions. Nobody seemed to care.

The day felt incredibly long, even with the arrival of the night. We ended up going to a bar and grabbing some food, not really wanting to return home just yet. Though I think we ordered a little too much, then feeling completely stuffed on the way home, with a very chaotic taxi driver that felt like he was attempted to reach warp speed. At least we got home faster!

Glad you got to appreciate the storm from somewhere safe and dry XD

Hope the illness didn't last too long, guessing you're fine now seeing as you're up and about again?

Yay for concert! We went to one today too but it was Stardew Valley. And we didn't get to shuffle to more comfortable seats (eldest was VERY uncomfortable as he was too gangly for the seat) XD

I felt like the bus driver was speeding too! But I checked with my phone and he was doing the speed limit.

How was the Stardew Valley one? That must've been fun. The game is pretty much the only game I still play these days. Can't help it, it's too relaxing!

(Edited)

It was really good! And I went in blind XD (middle child is the one that plays and wanted to go)

ps the conductor was a crackup XD I didn't get any of the jokes (because I don't play). Worth going to see if they end up in a town near you.

Would be cool! I sort of expect something like that here in Armenia. They have a lot of film music concerts that surprise
