Hello, I hope you are well ☺️ Traveling to the Azores has always been a dream for me, whenever I saw photographs I had a huge desire to discover the little charms that the Azores have to offer. I recently had the opportunity to make my wish come true ☺️ My adventure began with a walk around Lagoa das Sete Cidades, one of the most iconic attractions on the island of São Miguel. The experience was simply incredible, full of moments of enchantment and stunning discoveries.

The lagoon of the seven cities is famous for its interconnected lagoons, one green and one blue, located in the crater of an extinct volcano. The journey to get there started early, with a car journey from Ponta Delgada, we arrived at the airport and picked up the car we rented. The road was surrounded by lush vegetation, setting the stage for what was to come. Walking back to the lagoon of the seven cities is incredible

This experience was enchanting, especially being able to explore the banks of this stunning lagoon up close. Spending part of the morning around the lagoon provided moments of tranquility and a deep connection with nature.

We arrived at the banks of the lagoon and noticed that some people were camping there, creating an atmosphere of community and adventure.
The makeshift campsites had a special charm, with families and groups of friends preparing their own meals al fresco. The aroma of barbecue and homemade food made you want to eat 🤣 people were very relaxed, enjoying time together and the simplicity of cooking around a fire or on portable grills.

Along the shore of the lagoon, find several wooden lunch tables, so people can enjoy a beautiful lunch with a stunning view. Many of the tables were occupied with people eating. The proximity of the water meant that each meal was accompanied by the soft sound of waves hitting the banks, creating a very relaxing sound.

I decided to stop at one of these tables and relax a little. If I heard it passing by a supermarket and bought something for lunch in this wonderful place. Next time I come here I will bring ☺️ the lagoon reflected in the blue sky, the green hills in the background and the wildflowers that gave a lot of color to the landscape

People took advantage of the lake's proximity in different ways. Children running around, couples in love, several people taking photos as souvenirs (I'm one of those people 🤣) and some just enjoying the view. The atmosphere was profoundly calm, anyone looking for a peaceful place would definitely recommend the Azores. A great place to slow down and enjoy the moment.

The lagoon itself was a spectacle in itself. The water with its different shades of blue and green, muse color depending on the angle of the sun and the position of the clouds. This continuous mutation of nuclei was mesmerizing

In addition to the visual pleasure, the feeling of being so close to the lagoon brought a peace that is difficult to describe. It was a cloudy but quite calm day but sometimes there was a good breeze, a perfect day for walking, with the breeze we could hear the leaves of the trees swaying in the wind and it created a soft sound that completed the atmosphere.

Some people also took their boats and enjoyed the lagoon. It was inspiring to see Los rowing calmly, moving with the current and exploring every corner of this natural paradise. The activity seemed like a fantastic way to get to know the lagoon better and connect with the landscape

Spending part of the morning around the Seven Cities Lagoon, right next to the water, was an experience that combines natural beauty, tranquility and a sense of community. Whether camping, cooking outdoors, having a picnic or simply enjoying the view, the proximity of the lake offered a unique opportunity to disconnect from the fast pace, at least where I live. It is a place that invites you to reflect, rest and enjoy simple but deeply rewarding moments.

I hope you liked it, see you soon friends

I had the opportunity to visit São Miguel about 40 years ago, but it's exactly like like I remember it. Your photos took me there. It's a wonderful place with such nice landscapes, like Lagoa das Sete Cidades, Lagoa Do Fogo, and I have very special memories about Ciliseo Micaelense, where I had the great experience of playing music with my band.

Thanks for sharing, the beautiful pictures!

Wowwwwwwwww.
I lack words to describe this place you visited today. To be very honest, this is best out of all the places you've ever visited and shared on the blockchain. This place looks so natural. I also appreciate your cam quality, it's also one of the reasons for these amazing photos of the Azores. This is great, look the animals lying on the floor, they feel at home, what a paradise.
You're really having a great time there friend. I wish I would have an opportunity to visit some of these beautiful and natural environments where you go to have fun.
Thanks for sharing, I feel so happy to see that you've finally visited the place you've longed for.
Enjoy your day friend. Extend my greetings to those around you and your boyfriend. Still waiting to see where next you guys are gonna have your next birthday tour, the last one was awesome.
