Aveiro - Portugal

Hello everyone, I hope you are well ☺️ My boyfriend and I came to visit Aveiro because we love this wonderful city ☺️ Aveiro is known as the Portuguese Venice and you will understand why when you see the pictures I took to show you ❤️

I advise anyone who goes to Aveiro to stay at least 3 days to get to know Aveiro and Costa Nova well, which I have already shown you in previous posts. I really recommend visiting this wonderful city.

In Aveiro, the best thing if you go by car is to leave the car parked and move around on foot, also if you get tired there are always the very famous trains of Aveiro or the famous boats to rest a bit

I also took a picture of these hand-painted tiles because I really like the history of São Gonçalinho. São Gonçalo was recognized for many virtues and attributes of Santo. He was called holy matchmaker, prankster, conflict appeaser, protector and healer.

Where to eat in Aveiro? My boyfriend and I were walking until we saw a giant painting on one of the streets saying don't leave the francesinha you can eat today for tomorrow, so my boyfriend asked me soon do you want to go eat francesinha? And my answer of course was yes. I already told you that he only leads me astray 😅

but the truth is that the francesinha was great, I haven't eaten a francesinha in a while

What I also really like about Aveiro is a super cheap store that has a cow at the door, which everyone thinks is funny and enters the store

In aveiro i find the bridges a lot of fun where the boats pass under the bridges. people all want to take pictures on top of the bridges of aveiro

The benches some are new others need restoration. But I thought it was fun to show you the true beauty of Aveiro. Couples in love, parents and children, elderly people sit on these benches. People of all ages ☺️

The streets are invaded by tourists and have lots of souvenir shops about the city of aveiro
