A fantastic story

Hello everyone, for those who don't know I work with 4 and 5 year olds. Today I told you a story called in this story there are no dragons. Then I asked them to draw me a picture about the story they heard.

This type of work is very important to see their concentration and their evolution

The act of drawing is of great importance in child development, as it is a way for children to express themselves and unleash their imagination.

In addition to being a super fun activity, drawing is a way of communicating, being very important for the development of children, since when she draws she creates bridges between the imaginary world and the real one.

How do drawings help in child development?

• Cognitive
  Children, by creating images of the real world and projecting them into a drawing, express their knowledge about the world around them and, in this sense, it is possible to observe their cognitive development through their productions. Cognitive structures are the result of interaction with their environment and vary from child to child.

• psychomotor
  Drawing favors motor skills, as the child will have control over their movements as they create the traits and will also develop spatial notions. Gradually, the child is able to handle pencils or brushes firmly and precisely, in addition to developing more defined lines and strokes

• Social
  In their drawings, children portray their experimentation in the world, their personal relationships, their sociocultural context. When drawing, she narrows her knowledge that she is a social subject, with rights and duties and begins to understand the events of her life and what happens around her.

Some of them made me very happy, they were very attentive and drew very well for their age. I also try to make them learn a lot
