Simple portraits on the beach - with Mariana [Eng/Esp]

This is the first time I've done a photo shoot on the beach, and the reason for that is simple: I hadn't been to the beach in many years, and when Valentina invited me, I really hesitated. I knew it would be a good place to take some photos and get out of my comfort zone a bit, so I ended up accepting. My main intention was to take photos of Valentina, but I ended up taking photos of some of her friends as well. Today, I want to share some simple portraits I took of Mariana. I hope you enjoy them.

Esta es la primera vez que hago una sesión de fotografías en la playa y la razón de ello es sencilla, tenía muchísimos años que no hacía un viaje a la playa y cuando Valentina me invitó realmente lo dudé, sabía que sería un buen sitio para hacer algunas fotografías y salir un poco de mi zona de confort, por lo cual terminé aceptando, mi intención principal era hacerle fotografías a Valentina, pero terminé haciendo fotografías a algunas de sus amigas y el día de hoy quiero compartirles algunos retratos sencillos que le hice a Mariana, espero que las disfruten.

One of the advantages of taking photographs on the beach is the abundance of sunlight, which means that lighting is not an issue and you can find the best way to make the most of it. Obviously, it depends a lot on the position of the sun at the time of shooting, which can either work in your favor or create some very pronounced shadows, but on this occasion it actually worked out quite well.

Una de las facilidades que te permite el hacer fotografías en la playa es la gran cantidad de sol que tienes allí, por lo cual la luz no es ningún inconveniente y puedes buscar la mejor manera de aprovecharla, evidentemente depende mucho de la posición del sol en el momento de las fotografías que te puede terminar beneficiando o generando algunas sombras muy marcadas, pero para esta ocasión realmente vino bastante bien.

When developing the photographs, I tried to create a slight contrast between Mariana's swimsuit with its blue and aquamarine tones, while taking advantage of the reddish tone of her hair and also the tattoo on her forearm, which worked quite well for this combination. In addition, the beach setting provided a nice touch to give the photographs a final finish.

That's all for today. I had four models on the beach, and obviously I took many more photos of the whole place, but I focused on these four models during their photo shoots, and I hope to share some more soon in this beautiful community. En el revelado de las fotografías intenté generar un pequeño contraste entre el traje de baño de Mariana con esos tonos tan azules y aguamarinas, mientras aprovechaba el tono rojizo de su cabello y también del tatuaje que se aprecia en antebrazo, por lo cual vino bastante bien para hacer esa combinación. Además, que ya el entorno playero daba ese toque bonito para dar un acabado final a las fotografías.

Esto ha sido todo por el día de hoy. Tuve 4 modelos en la playa, evidentemente hice muchas más fotografías de todo el lugar, pero 4 modelos en las que me centré en sus sesiones de fotos que espero compartir algunas otras próximamente en esta hermosa comunidad.
