Sand and sea - with Liz [Eng/Esp]

Happy day to all, dear friends of the community and photography lovers, how are you today? I'm doing well, and I hope you are too. As those of you who have been following the photos I share know, a couple of weeks ago I went on a trip to the beach and while I was there I did several photo shoots with some of the girls who went. I've already shared photos of two of them, and today I want to share some of a third. The model in this shoot is called Liz. I hope you enjoy these photos.

Feliz día para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Por mi parte yo estoy bien y espero que ustedes también lo estén. Como bien saben aquellos que han seguido las fotografías que comparto, hace un par de semanas que fui a un viaje a la playa y estando allá hice diversas sesiones de fotos a algunas de las chicas que fueron, ya les he compartido fotografías de dos de ellas y el día de hoy quiero compartirles algunas de una tercera, la modelo de esta sesión se llama Liz, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

A really important factor for photos is light. Without light, there is no photography, and when I was at the beach, that's what I had most of. Natural light is beautiful when you know how to use it, but obviously it can be very strong and it's not something you can control. But knowing how to position the model to make her stand out can yield very interesting results, and I think the proof is in the first two photographs, which I must say are my favorites without a doubt. Liz stands out in both photos, and her beauty is maximized thanks to the light that illuminates her.

Un punto realmente importante para las fotos es la luz, sin luz no hay fotografía y cuando estaba en la playa era lo que más había, la luz natural es preciosa cuando se sabe aprovechar, evidentemente puede ser muy fuerte y no es algo que se pueda controlar, pero sabiendo ubicar a la modelo para hacerla destacar puede dejar resultados muy interesantes y creo que la prueba son las primeras dos fotografías, las cuales debo decir que son mis favoritas sin lugar a dudas, Liz resalta en ambas fotos y su belleza se maximiza gracias a la luz que la ilumina.

For developing these photographs, I kept it simple. The reason for this is that the more natural the photograph, the more beautiful the result would be, because the setting was perfect: a beautiful model, a beautiful location, and the water helped to create an even more striking atmosphere. One thing I did in these photographs was to remove some people who were visible in the background. Since it was a beach, there were many people, and I just wanted to focus attention on Liz. Even I was surprised at how well I did it. In one photo, it was impossible, but in the rest of them, I did quite well.

Para el revelado de estas fotografías me fui a lo sencillo. La razón de ello es que, mientras más natural fuese la fotografía, más lindo sería el resultado, porque el escenario era perfecto, una linda modelo, un lindo lugar y el agua ayudaba a generar un ambiente incluso más llamativo. Algo que sí hice en estas fotografías fue eliminar algunas personas que se veían al fondo, como es una playa, había muchas personas y solo quise centrar la atención en Liz y hasta yo quedé sorprendido con lo bien que lo hice, en una foto me fue imposible, pero en el resto de ellas lo hice bastante bien.
