Portraits of my friend Daniela [Eng/Esp]

Doing photo shoots has its charm, but it also has its monotonous side, and for a while I wasn't very motivated, so I devoted myself to other types of photography that I still enjoyed and found entertaining. At the end of 2025, a friend returned to Venezuela from Colombia, and after certain complications in the country, this month we managed to do a photo shoot, as I always do one when she comes, and those are the ones I want to share with you today. I hope you enjoy them.

Hacer sesiones de fotográficas tiene su encanto, pero también tiene su aspecto que puede hacerlo monótono y por un tiempo estuve sin mucha motivación, por lo que me dediqué a hacer otro tipo de fotografías donde todavía me entretenía y me gustaba, a finales del año 2025 una amiga regresó a Venezuela de Colombia y luego de ciertas complicaciones en el país, este mes logramos hacer una sesión de fotos, ya que siempre le hago una cuando viene y son las que les quiero compartir el día de hoy, espero que las disfruten.

This time, the photos are quite varied because we had planned a location, but as you know, things don't always turn out the way you want them to, so we had to move from one place to another where there weren't so many people, since my friend Daniela still feels embarrassed posing in front of someone because of how they stare at her for so long. So, we were constantly on the move, but rather than being a problem, this actually helped us get a wide variety of photos that may end up working quite well.

En esta ocasión son unas fotografías bastante variadas y es que, teníamos planeado un lugar, pero ya saben que aquello que planeas no siempre termina sucediendo tal y como lo quieres, por lo que tuvimos que estar moviéndonos de un lugar a otro donde no hubieran tantas personas, ya que, a mi amiga Daniela todavía le genera pena el posar delante de alguien por el cómo se quedan viendo por mucho tiempo, así que, estuvimos en constante movimiento, pero esto más allá de ser un problema, ayuda bastante a tener una gran variedad de fotos que puede terminar funcionando bastante bien.

Personally, I'm not a fan of editing people's skin too much. I certainly like to clean up details that I don't think affect the image too much, but for the development of these photographs, I tried to make the final result as faithful as possible to the original photographs, obviously balancing certain aspects that for some reason the environment could contaminate, but otherwise, I like to keep the sessions in this style, when it comes to portraits where people's faces are the center of attention, and while I was doing it, I had fun, so I really want to do more photo shoots.

Personalmente no soy fanático de editar tanto a las personas en cuanto a la piel, ciertamente me gusta limpiar detalles que considero no afectan tanto, pero para el revelado de estas fotografías, intenté que el resultado final fuese lo más fiel posible a las fotografías originales, obviamente equilibrando ciertos aspectos que por alguna circunstancia el entorno podía contaminar, pero de resto, me gusta mantener las sesiones de este estilo, cuando se tratan de retratos donde el rostro de las personas es el centro de atención y mientras lo hacía me divertí, por lo que, realmente tengo ganas de hacer más sesiones de fotos.
