Portraits at Freestyle event [Eng/Esp]
Happy day to all dear friends of the community and photography lovers, I hope everyone is feeling great. I personally have not had a good few days lately, I have had some health problems and this as always merits spending a lot of money, but well, as this stresses me out a bit, I decided that the best way to clear my mind was to edit some pictures and I certainly thank myself that every time I take pictures, I take a lot, so I always have something I can edit and today I decided it would be some interesting moments in battles, I hope you enjoy them.

If you saw my post from last week where I also shared pictures from another event I attended, you will know that in those I focused a lot on moments in motion and while there are also some in these, I would say that most of these are in quieter moments, I focused on these moments because while in these events there is a lot of euphoria, I would say that it is also curious to notice the opposite side of the competitors and personally I quite like it, I would say that there is also a certain beauty in the calm and enjoyment of these competitions.

I was very lucky that the day of the event there was enough sun, this allowed me to make better captures and for the development of each photograph I focused on just highlighting a little more the colors and the protagonists, a little touch of saturation for it and I balanced a little the strong sun, in this way I generated a softer contrast, although there is a photo where the contrast is stronger, this is because the photograph was backlit, but I loved that effect that was generated, I hope you like the development as much as I do.

Without anything else to add, I thank you for taking the time to read a little of what I write and look at my pictures. Again, I wish you a happy day, see you next time!

I love the emotions in these photos, excellent work Ronald!
Thank you so much @erikah, it's quite a challenge to capture emotions in such a spontaneous way, but it's definitely totally worth it!
My absolute pleasure.
Just out of curiosity, how many photos you take that are not usable at all, at such a photo shoot?
Taking this one as an example, I took about 372 photos in total, my first filter was to remove out of focus photos or with very blurred movements, I discarded about 70 photos, then my second filter depends on my personal taste, so I would say that in this case, about 120 photos are discarded, I have had other occasions where I discarded very few, but I try to make more than half of them usable.
120 out of 372 is a very good result in my eyes. I've never participated in such a photo shoot, but have taken photos of animals, like several in one place and it's a nightmare 🤣 In your case at least most of the people are standing till and only a couple are moving, but with animals, you can't tell them to not move.
It's true, photographing people can certainly be easier. When I've wanted to take pictures of animals it's quite a challenge, I even tried once to take pictures of a turtle that is quite slow and even then it was horrible the amount of photos I had to discard 😂
Great Portraits dear Friend, freat Shots really
