Outdoor photography - with Camila [Eng/Esp]

Happy day to everyone, dear friends of the community and photography lovers, I hope you are all well. It had been a while since I had done any portrait photo shoots. The last ones were with Yenifer, but last Sunday I had to cover an event called “Terapiarte.” It was an event where people could go and relax a bit. There was a theme, which was fairies, and anyone who wanted to could bring something related to that. In addition to taking photos of the event's activities, I also took some portraits of participants, one of whom was Camila, whom I had already photographed last year. Without further ado, enjoy these new photos.

Feliz día para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, espero que todos estén bien. Había pasado tiempo desde que no hacía sesiones de fotos con retratos, los últimos fueron de la sesión con Yenifer, pero el pasado domingo tenía que ir a cubrir un evento llamado “Terapiarte”, era un evento donde las personas podían ir y relajarse un poco, había una temática, era de hadas, quien quisiera podía llevar algo alusivo a eso. Aparte de hacer fotos de las actividades del evento, también hice algunos retratos a participantes, una de ellas Camila, a quien ya le hice una sesión de fotos el año pasado. Sin más que agregar, disfruten de estas nuevas fotos.

Camila approached me to ask me to take some photos of her, and obviously I was there for that, so we got down to work. The venue was a very nice place, quite spacious and with lots of green space, which really helped with the theme of the event, but we also took advantage of a small space used to store a water pump or something similar, and that's where we took these first photos that you've already seen.

Camila fue quien se me acercó para decirme que le hiciera unas fotos y obviamente yo estaba allí para eso, por lo cual nos pusimos manos a la obra. El lugar del evento era un sitio muy lindo, bastante espacioso y con mucha zona verde, lo cual ayudaba mucho con la temática del evento, pero nosotros aprovechamos también un pequeño espacio utilizado para almacenar una bomba de agua o algo por el estilo y ahí hicimos estas primeras fotografías que ya vieron.

We took the rest of the photos in the green area, which also helped to highlight the portraits a little more. Being closer, I was obviously able to bring out the details of Camila's face, which again were in keeping with the theme of the event and undoubtedly highlighted her beauty even more. When developing the photos, I didn't try to change much. What I did was remove the predominance of magenta in the photos, balance the colors a little more, add more detail, and focus more on Camila. At the end, I'll leave a before and after so you can see the subtle but important changes in the development. Sometimes simplicity makes things stand out more.

El resto de fotos las hicimos aprovechando el área verde, esto para también resaltar un poco más los retratos y al ser más cercanos obviamente también hice resaltar más los detalles que Camila tenía en su rostro, que nuevamente iban acorde con la temática del evento y estos sin duda hacían resaltar más la belleza de Camila. Para el revelado de las fotografías no intenté cambiar tanto, lo que sí hice fue quitar la predominancia del magenta en las fotografías, equilibrar un poco más los colores, dar más detalle y centrar más la vista en Camila, al final dejaré un antes y después para que vean los sutiles, pero importantes cambios en el revelado, a veces lo sencillo hace resaltar más.
