Monomad: Walking through the streets [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Walking and taking photographs has become one of my most enjoyable hobbies; although it's something I won't be doing for a while, I want to share with you one of my most recent occasions when, after taking photos at the skatepark, I went for a walk and appreciated everything around me. I hope you enjoy these photographs.

Caminar y hacer fotografías se ha vuelto uno de mis pasatiempos más entretenidos; aunque será algo que no haré por un tiempo, quiero compartir con ustedes una de estas últimas ocasiones en que, luego de hacer fotos en el skatepark, me fui caminando y apreciando todo lo que me rodeaba. Espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

In most cases, people are the main subjects of my photographs, and although I also share some photos with people here, I focused on buildings, wall paintings, decorations, and taking advantage of the low light and shadows to create contrast before nightfall.

En la mayoría de ocasiones, las personas son mis protagonistas en las fotografías y, si bien aquí también comparto algunas fotos con personas, me centré también en algunos edificios, pinturas en las paredes, decoraciones o aprovechando el momento de poca luz y sombras para hacer un contraste antes del anochecer.

It is always interesting to capture these moments where spontaneity flows, from a person walking, a building that seems to be completely silent due to the lack of people, a painting that tries to convey a message to some; all of this is part of a moment when we stop to observe, and that is why I really enjoy taking these kinds of photos.

Siempre es interesante captar estos momentos donde la espontaneidad fluye, desde una persona caminando, un edificio que parece estar en completo silencio por la falta de personas, una pintura que intenta transmitir un mensaje para algunos; todo esto forma parte de un momento en que nos detenemos a observar y por eso disfruto mucho de hacer este tipo de fotos.
