Monomad: Urban portraits with attitude [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Friday to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you’re all having a great day today. I’m sharing more photos from the event I posted about a week ago, featuring new subjects and interesting expressions on their faces; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz viernes para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. Les comparto más fotografías del evento que compartí hace una semana, con nuevos protagonistas y expresiones interesantes en sus rostros; espero que las disfruten.

Battles are usually very exciting events, mostly because of the competitiveness you see there, but since I started taking photos, I’ve discovered that special something that isn’t always obvious, because the key to battles is really hearing them compete, but in photos you can see that thirst for victory.

Las batallas suelen ser eventos muy interesantes, más que todo por la competitividad que se puede presenciar allí, pero desde que hago fotografías, he encontrado ese toque distinto de aquello que no se aprecia tanto, ya que la clave de las batallas es justo escucharlos competir, pero en fotos se puede apreciar esa sed de victoria.

When there are a lot of people, you might think they could ruin the photos a bit, but personally, I think they add just the right touch to make the atmosphere feel as urban and street style as freestyle battle events usually are, so I end up really liking how these photos turn out in the end.

Cuando hay muchas personas, cualquiera pensaría que pueden dañar un poco las fotos, pero personalmente considero que estas brindan justamente lo necesario para que el ambiente se sienta tan urbano y callejero como normalmente suelen ser los eventos de batallas de freestyle, por lo que ver estas fotografías así me termina gustando mucho para el resultado final.
