Monomad: Urban portraits of myself as a model [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

A couple of weeks ago I had a date with a friend to practice a little bit about photography. I took some pictures of her and she took some of mine and those last ones are just the ones I want to share with you today, they are edited by me, since I wanted it to have something of what characterizes me.

Hace un par de semanas me había quedado con una amiga para practicar un poco sobre fotografía. Yo le hice algunas fotografías y ella me hizo algunas a mí y esas últimas son justo las que quiero compartirles el día de hoy, están editadas por mí, ya que quería que tuviese algo de lo que me caracteriza.

Being a model for someone else, I must say, is a bit complex. Honestly, I'm not used to having my picture taken, even when I take self-portraits myself I find it difficult to pose, but I still found it an interesting activity to get out of my comfort zone a little bit.

El ser modelo para alguien más debo decir que resulta un poco complejo. Honestamente, no estoy acostumbrado a que me tomen fotografías, incluso cuando yo mismo me hago autorretratos se me dificulta el posar, pero aun así me pareció una actividad interesante para salir un poco de la zona de confort.

These photographs were taken in a square and its surroundings, taking advantage of some spaces that may be quite common and used by other people, but have a characteristic charm either by what surrounds it or the compositions that can be achieved there and just for that reason I decided that they would be better in black and white, to give that interesting touch to the photographs.

Estas fotografías las hicimos en una plaza y sus alrededores, aprovechando algunos espacios que pueden ser bastante comunes y utilizados por otras personas, pero tienen un encanto característico ya sea por lo que le rodea o las composiciones que pueden lograrse allí y justo por eso decidí que estarían mejor en blanco y negro, para dar ese toque interesante a las fotografías.

I apologize if the poses are not the best, I still have a lot to learn, but I want to continue taking pictures, even if it's just as an exercise, but we'll see later. Thank you very much for stopping by for another day, I hope you liked the pictures and have a great day, see you next time!
