Monomad: The suspicious neighbor's cat [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

There is a neighbor's cat that I have not yet managed to win over; whenever I approach, it runs away to its house because it knows I am not going to come in, and it lies down there. Seeing how calm it was, I went home, got my camera, and took a couple of pictures; I hope you enjoy them.

Hay un gato vecino al cual todavía no he logrado ganar su confianza; siempre que me acerco, se va corriendo hacia su casa porque sabe que no voy a entrar y se acuesta allí. Como lo vi tan tranquilo, fui a mi casa, busqué mi cámara y le hice un par de fotografías; espero que las disfruten.

As you can see, he was simply lying there, which is why there are few variations in the photos; I was the one who had to move constantly, trying to vary the compositions and making him follow me with his gaze so that the change could be appreciated.

Como bien pueden verlo, él estaba ahí simplemente acostado, por eso son pocas las variaciones en las fotos; yo fui el que tuvo que moverse constantemente, intentando variar las composiciones y haciendo que su mirada me siguiera para que se apreciara el cambio.

I took advantage of moments when something caught his attention or he simply began to lick himself to bathe; I managed to take some interesting photographs of both his expressions and the great ability cats have to contort themselves in the simplest way to clean themselves. Without a doubt, they were among my favorite photographs.

Aprovechaba los momentos en que algo captaba su atención o simplemente empezaba a lamerse para bañarse; logré hacer unas fotografías interesantes tanto de sus miradas como de la gran habilidad que tienen los gatos para contorsionarse de la forma más sencilla para limpiarse. Sin duda, fueron de mis fotografías favoritas.

This cat's name is Tom. I hope to gain his trust at some point so I can take better pictures of him, but I really liked these ones. At the end of the day, Tom pushes me to be more creative and find ways to vary the photos I take of him, so I have fun in the process. That's all for today; I hope you liked these photos. El nombre de este gato es Tom. Espero en algún momento ganarme su confianza y así hacerle mejores fotografías, pero realmente me gustaron estas.
