Monomad: The beauty of the cathedral [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I think I have taken architectural photographs on very few occasions; the reason for this is that I don't think there are many striking buildings where I live. Perhaps it's my fault for not knowing how to observe properly, but there is a cathedral that I have always found very beautiful, and today I am sharing some photographs with you. I hope you enjoy them.

Creo que son contadas las veces que he hecho fotografía de arquitectura; la razón de ello es que considero que donde vivo no hay tantas construcciones llamativas; quizás sea fallo mío al no saber observar bien, pero sí hay una catedral que honestamente desde siempre me ha parecido muy bonita y el día de hoy les comparto algunas fotografías; espero que las disfruten.

This cathedral is one of the most iconic sites; many events are held here, especially weddings and graduation masses. I must say that the interior is also quite beautiful, but I would say that it is the exterior that attracts me the most; the design of the cathedral is unlike any other place, which is why I took these photographs.

Esta catedral es uno de los sitios más icónicos; se llevan a cabo muchos eventos, en especial bodas y misas de graduación. Debo decir que el lugar por dentro es bastante bonito también, pero diría que su exterior es lo que más me atrae; el diseño de la catedral tiene algo distinto a cualquier otro lugar y es por eso que hice estas fotografías.

In addition to its beautiful architecture, the sun was partially covering some areas at that moment, creating shadows and small patches of light that curiously illuminated it in a spiritual way, which is quite interesting, or at least I think so. Furthermore, the final black and white result highlights the beauty of the architecture I mentioned.

Aunado a lo hermoso de su arquitectura, el sol en ese momento le cubría parcialmente algunas zonas, lo cual generaba sombras y pequeñas partes de luz, que curiosamente lo iluminaban de una forma espiritual, lo cual es bastante curioso, o al menos a mí me lo parece. Además, el resultado final en blanco y negro hace destacar más esta belleza de la arquitectura que les menciono.
