Monomad: The audience watching the battles [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Friday to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you’re having a great day today. I’d like to share with you a different perspective on the freestyle events I love to attend; I hope you enjoy these photos.

Feliz viernes para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que encuentren estupendo el día de hoy. Quiero compartir con ustedes una mirada distinta a los eventos de freestyle a los que me encanta asistir; espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

For those who follow my photography, you’ll know that when I take photos at events like this, I usually focus on the competitors, but this time, the photos really highlight the audience watching these battles. I thought it would be interesting to change things up a bit; of course, I also included some photos of the competitors.

Para aquellos que siguen mis fotografías, sabrán que cuando hago fotos en este tipo de eventos me centro en los competidores, pero en esta ocasión, las fotografías apuntan mucho al público que presencia estas batallas. Me pareció interesante cambiar un poco la dinámica; evidentemente, también incluí algunas fotografías de los competidores.

To add that extra eye-catching touch to the photos, I felt that the final result worked perfectly in black and white, and personally, I think it was the best decision it created that striking contrast and dramatic effect, a distinctly urban vibe that fits this setting perfectly.

Para dar ese toque más llamativo en las fotografías, me pareció que el resultado final venía perfectamente en blanco y negro y personalmente creo que fue la mejor decisión, para generar ese contraste más llamativo y ese toque más dramático, un toque bastante urbano que perfectamente encaja en este escenario.
