Monomad: Sunflower bud [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

When you start working on something, you try to pay attention to every detail that goes into it. I decided to plant some sunflowers for my girlfriend, and while they were growing, I took some photos that I’d like to share with you today; I hope you like them as much as I do.

Cuando empiezas a dedicarte a algo, intentas fijarte en todo lo que esto lo conforma. Yo decidí plantar unas flores de girasol para mi novia y, en el proceso de su formación, hice algunas fotografías que son las que les quiero compartir el día de hoy; espero que les gusten tanto como a mí.

What you see in the photos is a developing flower bud; this is one of the stages that signals the sunflower is about to bloom; as a result, you can begin to see the petals compressed within the bud, which, in my opinion, certainly has a very striking shape.

Lo que ven en las fotografías es un botón floral desarrollándose; es una de las etapas que te asegura que ya está por mostrarse el girasol; por ende, se empiezan a ver los pétalos comprimidos en el botón floral, lo cual, sin duda, tiene una forma muy llamativa a mi parecer.

I tried taking some photos from different angles so that the beauty of the flower bud could be appreciated in various ways. Planting sunflowers and watching them grow was a challenge, but achieving a good result is what makes it all worthwhile, and these are some photos I took before my camera lens broke.

Intenté hacer unas fotografías desde diferentes ángulos, para que se apreciara de distintas maneras la belleza del botón floral. Fue un reto el plantar girasoles y verlos crecer, pero siempre llegar a un buen resultado es lo que hace que todo valga la pena, y estas fueron unas fotografías que hice antes de que el lente de mi cámara se dañara.
