Monomad: Portraits of my little cousin Haeley [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I'm not used to take portraits of people in my family, (although I would like to make a kind of album or something like that) but taking advantage of the fact that my cousin had an important day I decided to take pictures of her before going to the event and some pictures after the event and these are the pictures I want to share with you today.

No estoy acostumbrado a hacerle retratos a personas de mi familia, (aunque me gustaría hacer una especie de álbum o algo por el estilo) pero aprovechando que mi prima tenía un día importante decidí hacerle fotografías antes de ir al evento y algunas fotografías luego del evento y son las fotos que quiero compartirles el día de hoy.

All of us who like photography discover the importance of light, that's why taking portraits outdoors comes in handy, of course you have to be aware of the intensity of sunlight and if necessary try to take advantage of shadows or things like that, this time we use direct sunlight and in some photographs shadows to have something creative.

Todos a quienes nos gusta la fotografía descubrimos la importancia de la luz, por eso el hacer retratos al aire libre viene de maravilla, por supuesto hay que estar pendiente de la intensidad de la luz del sol y de ser necesario intentar aprovechar sombras o cosas por el estilo, en esta ocasión utilizamos la luz del sol de manera directa y en algunas fotografías sombras para tener algo creativo.

Photographs, beyond capturing a moment, are also about turning important days into memories, so I am happy to know that these photographs can last for many, many years and that when my cousin sees them again, she will remember with great joy what was an excellent day.

Las fotografías, más allá de ser el capturar un momento, también es convertir días importantes en recuerdos, por lo que me contenta saber que estas fotografías puedan durar muchísimos años y que cuando mi prima las vea de nuevo, recuerde con mucha alegría lo que fue un día excelente.
