Monomad: Portraits of competitors - Freestyle battles #1 [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

A couple of weeks ago I attended a freestyle event, for those of you who follow my work you will know that I share moments that I find interesting in this type of competitions and I had a while without making posts about it in this community, but the day has come to start again with this series.

Hace un par de semanas asistí a un evento de freestyle, para aquellos que siguen mi trabajo sabrán que soy de compartir momentos que me parecen interesantes en este tipo de competiciones y ya tenía un tiempo sin hacer publicaciones sobre eso en esta comunidad, pero ha llegado el día de empezar de nuevo con esta serie.

On this occasion I will not give names of participants, because I honestly do not know them, but I can mention that the battles were interesting, at least I had fun both taking pictures and listening to the competitors in each of the confrontations that took place.

En esta ocasión no voy a dar nombres de participantes, porque honestamente no los conozco, pero sí puedo mencionar que las batallas estuvieron interesantes, por lo menos yo me divertí tanto haciendo las fotografías como escuchando a los competidores en cada uno de los enfrentamientos que se fueron dando.

While I try to capture the right moments, I learned that to have better captures I should focus on those who are still calm, because they don't move erratically and allow me to keep the focus, but equally I also focused on the euphoric ones, because while I like to have a good focus, I also want movement in the photos to feel the atmosphere.

Si bien intento captar los momentos adecuados, aprendí que para tener mejores capturas debo centrarme en aquellos que todavía están calmados, porque no se mueven de manera errática y me permiten mantener el enfoque, aunque de igual manera también me centré en los eufóricos, porque si bien me gusta tener un buen enfoque, también quiero movimiento en las fotos para que se sienta el ambiente.

So far this post, this will be the first of a great series of pictures that I will start sharing in the community, because I really made a lot of pictures and although I reduced them by half choosing only the ones I liked the most, I still have a lot left, so I hope you all like them.
