Monomad: Portraits between the lines - with Alejandra [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

The amount of natural lines that can be used in photographs depending on the place where you are is impressive, because every structure or object has lines, so using them to your advantage can generate interesting compositions to highlight a little more our protagonist who in this case Alejandra.

La cantidad de líneas naturales que se pueden utilizar en las fotografías según el sitio en el que te encuentres es impresionante, porque toda estructura u objeto tiene líneas, por lo que utilizarlos a tu favor puede generar unas composiciones interesantes para resaltar un poco más a nuestro protagonista, como en este caso a Alejandra.

We took these pictures next to a building which has a small square where people can sit and have a nice time, so we took advantage of the fact that it was alone to take these pictures that began as a test and we ended up loving both for the process and for the pleasant moment.

Estas fotografías las hicimos al costado de un edificio el cual tiene una pequeña plaza donde las personas pueden sentarse y pasar un rato agradable, por lo que nosotros aprovechamos que se encontraba solo para hacer estas fotografías que empezaron siendo de prueba y nos terminaron encantando tanto por el proceso como por el momento agradable.

The clothes Alejandra had were quite colorful and honestly didn't go very well with the place, as everything was a more muted color, so by switching them to black and white I feel they take on a more interesting mystery and the lines on her flannel match the shades of gray, making an equally good contrast.

La ropa que tenía Alejandra era bastante colorida y honestamente no iba muy bien con el lugar, ya que todo era un color más apagado, por eso al pasarlas a blanco y negro siento que adquieren un misterio más interesante y las líneas en su franela hace juego por los matices de grises, haciendo un contraste igual de bueno.
