Monomad: Playing with light and shadow - with Daniela [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Since I've been taking photographs I must say that I really enjoy using the natural light of the sun when it is at the point of being hidden, I feel that it can be used for different types of photography and in this session I wanted to take advantage of it to make some portraits with my friend Daniela.

Desde que hago fotografías debo decir que disfruto mucho de utilizar la luz natural del sol cuando este se encuentra en el punto de estarse ocultando, siento que puede aprovecharse para distintos tipos de fotografía y en esta sesión quise aprovecharlo para hacer algunos retratos junto a mi amiga Daniela.

Although we had planned this session, these last pictures were not, we were just about to leave the place, but when I saw how well the sun was bouncing I thought it was a good idea to take advantage of it, and playing with the lights and shadows that it generates seems to me a great way to practice.

A pesar de que esta sesión la habíamos planificado, estas últimas fotografías no lo fueron, simplemente estábamos por irnos del lugar, pero cuando vi lo bien que el sol estaba rebotando me pareció una buena idea aprovecharlo y es que, jugar con las luces y sombras que este genera me parece una gran manera de practicar.

Small flashes of light are often interesting, because by keeping certain areas of the body in shadow and having a beam of light illuminating others, it generates a focal point for people, so it undoubtedly highlights some aspect of the model.

Los pequeños destellos de luz suelen ser interesantes, porque al mantener ciertas zonas del cuerpo en sombra y tener un rayo de luz iluminando otras, genera un punto de foco para las personas, por lo que hace resaltar sin dudas algún aspecto de la modelo.
