Monomad: Paths of light
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
I am a lover of photographs with strong contrast, those where shadows conceal a lot and light illuminates just enough to create a dramatic atmosphere. On this occasion, I am sharing some photographs from a street perspective. I hope you enjoy each photograph and the story that each one can tell.
Soy un amante de las fotografías que tienen un contraste fuerte, aquellas donde las sombras ocultan bastante y la luz ilumina justo lo necesario para crear un ambiente dramático y, en esta ocasión, les comparto algunas fotografías desde la perspectiva callejera; espero que disfruten de cada fotografía y la historia que puede contar cada una.
It's incredible to me how important breathing can be when taking a photo. What I mean is, knowing how to wait for the perfect moment, waiting for your subject to be in exactly the right place, and then taking the shot at just the right moment. I think the first photo is one of my favorites precisely because of that; I knew how to wait until I had the composition I wanted.
Se me hace increíble lo importante que puede ser el respirar al hacer una foto, lo que quiero decir, saber esperar el momento perfecto, esperar que tu protagonista se encuentre ubicado justo en el lugar que deseas y justo en ese momento hacer el disparo. Creo que la primera fotografía es de mis favoritas justo por eso; supe esperar hasta tener la composición que quería.
Without a doubt, the light was incredible for these photographs; this has taught me that I shouldn't stay in one place, but rather move around and know how to find those spots where the light makes the scene more striking, so I'm quite happy with these photographs.
Sin duda, la ayuda de la luz fue increíble para estas fotografías; esto solo me ha enseñado que no debo quedarme en un único lugar, sino moverme y saber buscar estos lugares donde la luz permite que el escenario sea más llamativo, por lo que estoy bastante contento con estas fotografías.
