Monomad: Paternal love on the streets [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Capturing people as they walk down the street is interesting because you have to choose the right moment and setting to take the photograph, but on this occasion, beyond that, I focused on people who were accompanied by others, which is a lovely way to capture companionship on the streets. I hope you enjoy these photographs.

Capturar a las personas mientras van caminando en la calle me parece interesante por elegir el momento adecuado y el escenario para hacer la fotografía, pero en esta ocasión, más allá de eso, me fijé en personas que iban acompañadas, una linda manera de capturar la compañía en las calles; espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

When I took these photos, it was around 5 p.m., and there is a school near where I took the photos, so I assume that many of the people in the photos are parents with their children after school; this seems like a beautiful moment to capture and preserve for posterity.

Al momento que hice estas fotos, la hora sería aproximadamente las 5 de la tarde y cerca de donde hice las fotografías hay un colegio, por lo que asumo que muchos de los protagonistas de las fotografías son padres junto a sus hijos luego de salir de clases; esto se me hace un momento lindo de capturar y guardar para la posteridad.

I almost always like to capture moments of monotony on the street, and while this is also an aspect of that, it's different because it's more like the everyday love of a father for his child and everything he does for them, and I think that when you look at it from that perspective, it's definitely very nice to have it in photographs.

Casi siempre me gusta capturar momentos de la monotonía callejera y, si bien este es un aspecto de ello también, es diferente porque es más como el amor del día a día de un padre por su hijo y todo lo que hace por ellos, y creo que viéndolo desde esa perspectiva, sin duda es muy bonito tenerlo en fotografías.
