Monomad: Passion and love for skateboarding [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Saturday, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you’re all doing great and having a wonderful day. As is my Saturday tradition, I’m sharing some of the photos I took at the skatepark; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz sábado, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que todos se encuentren genial y tengan un estupendo día. Como ya es parte de los sábados para mí, les comparto algunas de las fotografías que hice en el skatepark; espero que las disfruten.

When I look at the photos I’ve taken, I can’t help but think about all the time I’ve put into them, and I imagine the same goes for the people in these photos, I mean, all the time they’ve spent practicing and perfecting their tricks for the sole purpose of doing what they truly love.

Al ver las fotografías que he hecho, no dejo de pensar en el tiempo que he dedicado y asumo que lo mismo les pasa a los protagonistas de estas fotografías, quiero decir, todo el tiempo que han dedicado al practicar y mejorar sus trucos con el único fin de hacer lo que realmente les gusta.

Looking at photographs from a different perspective and seeking a connection with everything else is a wonderful endeavor; you learn to see things in a different light, and that, combined with the effect I like to achieve with black and white photography, I feel adds value and gives the photos more character, which is why I enjoy sharing them with the community.

Ver las fotografías desde otra perspectiva y buscar una conexión con el resto de cosas es una linda tarea; aprendes a ver las cosas de una manera distinta y eso, sumado al resultado que me gusta lograr con el blanco y negro, siento que le suma valor y da más carácter a las fotografías, de ahí mi gusto a compartirlas en la comunidad.
