Monomad: Painting with watercolors [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Painting with watercolors has always been very entertaining for me to watch, but I've never done it personally, so when I had the opportunity to take photographs of my friend Kat while she was painting, I didn't waste any time. I hope you enjoy these photographs of watercolor painting details.

Pintar con acuarelas siempre se me ha hecho muy entretenido de ver, pero nunca lo he hecho personalmente, por eso cuando tuve la oportunidad de hacer fotografías a mi amiga Kat mientras pintaba no desaproveché el tiempo, por lo que espero que les gusten estas fotografías de detalles en pintura con acuarelas.

The way this type of art looks so subtle and beautiful to me, because the brushstrokes are usually very soft, and it requires a lot of patience and being at peace knowing what you're doing. I suppose that's why many people say it's something very relaxing to do.

La forma en que este tipo de arte se ve tan sutil y se me hace muy linda, porque las pinceladas suelen ser muy suaves, además de que es necesario tener mucha paciencia y estar en tranquilidad sabiendo lo que haces. Supongo que por eso muchas personas dicen que es algo muy relajante de hacer.

Capturing movement can sometimes be complicated, especially when you don't have much light to help you, but in some photos, I asked my friend Kat to stay quite still, and thanks to that, some photographs are better focused than others, but even so, I am quite happy with all these photographs.

Capturar el movimiento a veces es complicado, más cuando no tienes mucha luz que te ayude, pero en alguna foto le pedí a mi amiga Kat que se quedara bastante quieta y gracias a eso algunas fotografías están mejor enfocadas que otras, pero aun así estoy bastante contento con todas estas fotografías.
