Monomad: Painting by candlelight [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

From the moment someone becomes interested in photography, they discover that light is the most important thing for doing this, but there are many ways to take photographs with light, and one technique is to paint with light, capturing the movement of light that an object can emit, such as the light from a candle.

Desde que alguien empieza a interesarse en la fotografía, descubre que la luz es la cosa más importante para llevar a cabo esto, pero hay muchas maneras de hacer fotografías con luz y una técnica es la de pintar con luz, capturar el movimiento de la luz que un objeto puede emanar como lo puede el fuego en una vela.

This experiment was something I had wanted to do for quite some time, and I took advantage of a day when the power went out, so everything was dark and only a candle kept us company with its dim light. I grabbed my camera, took some photos, and then had another idea.

Este experimento era algo que quería hacer desde hace bastante tiempo y aproveché un día en que la energía eléctrica se fue, por lo que todo estaba oscuro y solo una vela nos hacía compañía con su poca luz, por lo que tomé mi cámara, hice algunas fotos y luego tuve otra idea.

Although capturing the movement was fairly simple, it didn't have much impact on the photo, so I lit another candle and moved it behind the main candle, which remained stationary, and in this way, as I said at the beginning, I painted different patterns with the candlelight.

Si bien capturar el movimiento era un poco sencillo, no generaba gran repercusión en la foto, por lo cual encendí otra vela y esta la pasaba detrás de la vela principal la cual no se movía en ningún momento y de esta forma, como bien dije al principio, pinté distintos patrones con la luz de la vela.

These are certainly creative photographs. I didn't have a main idea, but the reason is that I had never done this before. However, I would like to integrate this into my photo shoots. For now, I want to continue exploring and creating more things like this so that they can be appreciated in an abstract way. In the last two photographs, I used the flash on my phone, which is why they stand out more. Thank you very much for stopping by again today. Son unas fotografías creativas ciertamente, no tenía una idea principal, pero la razón es que nunca había hecho esto, pero me gustaría la idea de integrar esto en mis sesiones de fotos, por el momento quiero seguir indagando y creando más cositas así se aprecie de manera abstracta, que en las últimas dos fotografías utilicé el flash de mi teléfono, por eso se aprecia más.
