Monomad: Natural light for portraits [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I think many people who are into photography reach a point where they want everything in the scene to be perfect or feel they need a lot of equipment to take photos, but there are times when you can achieve beautiful results with very little, and today I’m sharing some example photos with you.

Creo que muchas personas de las que se dedican a la fotografía llegan a un punto en que buscan que todo en el escenario sea perfecto o necesitan de varias cosas para hacer fotografías, pero hay ocasiones donde con poco se pueden hacer unos resultados muy lindos y hoy les comparto algunas fotos de ejemplo.

I’m someone who likes to improvise quite a bit during photo shoots, I’ll pick a location and then explore it, looking for interesting spots, and the areas with good light are always the most striking. So, together with my friend Daniela, I positioned her under a tree where the light was falling beautifully to take some portraits of her.

Yo soy alguien a quien le gusta improvisar bastante en las sesiones de fotos, elegir un lugar y luego recorrerlo buscando puntos interesantes, y aquellos donde hay zonas de luz siempre son los más llamativos. Por eso, junto a mi amiga Daniela, la ubiqué en un árbol donde la luz iluminaba de forma muy linda para hacerle unos retratos.

I had him look in different directions and strike different poses; this allowed him to express himself in different ways, which is why I feel these are quite emotional and very spontaneous portraits. I really like them, and I hope you do too.

Le hice mirar hacia distintos lugares y adoptar distintas poses; de esta manera se fue variando la manera de expresarse, por lo cual siento que son unos retratos bastante emocionales y muy espontáneos, los cuales me gustan bastante y espero que a ustedes también les gusten.
