Monomad: Framing on the street [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

The idea of taking street photographs can go beyond just photographing people; if you include different things you encounter in the process, you can create interesting compositions. That's why today I'm sharing some photographs where, with the help of certain things, I created frames for the subjects. I hope you enjoy them.

La idea de hacer fotografías callejeras puede ser más allá de solo fotografiar a las personas; si llegas a incluir distintas cosas que te encuentras en el proceso, puedes hacer unas composiciones interesantes. Por eso, el día de hoy les comparto algunas fotografías donde, con ayuda de ciertas cosas, hice unos marcos para los protagonistas; espero que las disfruten.

Obviously, trying to frame people in the streets is a challenge; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. That's why you have to have a keen eye to know when the right moment is to take the photos, but sometimes your imagination after the photo helps you see what you didn't see at the time.

Evidentemente, intentar encuadrar a las personas en las calles es un reto; en ocasiones puede funcionar y en otras no. Por ese motivo hay que estar afinando bastante el ojo para saber cuál es ese momento adecuado donde deberías hacer las fotografías, pero a veces la imaginación luego de la foto te ayuda a ver aquello que no viste en el momento.

I always enjoy taking these black and white photographs for the simple reason that it adds a touch of drama and really enhances the final result. From my perspective, I have always used black and white as a way of conveying a message, removing distracting color and allowing you to really focus on the image.

Siempre disfruto de hacer estas fotografías en blanco y negro por la sencilla razón de que aporta un poco de dramatismo, aporta bastante a las fotografías en el resultado final, ya que, desde mi perspectiva, siempre he tomado el blanco y negro como una forma de dar un mensaje, quitar el color que distrae y centrarte realmente en la imagen.
