Monomad: Emotions and expressions in freestyle battles [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

The variety of moments that are experienced in freestyle battles are usually very interesting, because they range from feelings of happiness, discomfort, competitiveness, tranquility and endless emotions that are covered in a matter of minutes, all depending on the feeling that the competitors can convey in each of the battles.

La variedad de momentos que se viven en las batallas de freestyle suelen ser muy interesantes, porque van desde sentimientos de felicidad, molestia, competitividad, tranquilidad y un sinfín de emociones que se abarcan en cuestión de minutos, todo depende de la sensación que puedan transmitir los competidores en cada una de las batallas.

Personally my favorite part to take pictures is when one of the competitors responds to the other, because it looks so natural and perfectly conveys that feeling of giving it all at that precise moment, but then there is the other side of the competitor who just listens patiently to respond.

En lo personal mi parte favorita para hacer fotografías es cuando uno de los competidores responde al otro, porque se ve de una manera tan natural y transmite perfectamente esa sensación de estarlo dando todo en ese preciso momento, pero luego está el otro lado del competidor que solo escucha pacientemente para responder.

For this type of portraits, if we can call them that, which are focused on capturing the movement of the moment, as well as giving a good way to interpret the battles, it seems to me that the most appropriate is black and white, because it gives much more presence and prominence to the participants, thus ignoring the color contaminations.

Para este tipo de retratos si los podemos llamar así, que están enfocados tanto en captar el movimiento del momento, como también en dar una buena manera de interpretar lo que son las batallas, me parece que lo más adecuado es el blanco y negro, porque les da mucha más presencia y también protagonismo a los participantes, ignorando así las contaminaciones de color.
