Monomad: Daisies made from pipe cleaners [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I’ve always thought that gifts are a lovely way to show love for the people you care about, and I wanted to make a little something for my girlfriend with my own two hands. Today I’d like to share some photos I took of the gift I made for her; I hope you enjoy them.

Siempre he considerado que los regalos son una forma linda de expresar amor por las personas que uno quiere y yo quise hacerle un detalle con mis propias manos a mi novia y hoy quiero compartir algunas fotografías que hice de este detalle que le hice; espero que disfruten de las fotografías.

My girlfriend's favorite flowers are daisies and sunflowers, so I decided to make her some daisies out of pipe cleaners. It was fun to make; it's the first time I've done something like this, and I think it turned out pretty well for someone who doesn't do many crafts, but thanks to the tutorials, it was actually pretty easy to make.

Las flores favoritas de mi novia son las margaritas y girasoles, y me decidí por hacerle unas margaritas con limpiapipas. Estuvo entretenido de hacer; es la primera vez que hago algo así y creo que quedó bastante bien para ser alguien que hace pocas manualidades, pero gracias a los tutoriales fue un poco sencillo de realizar.

I took the photos the day before I gave him the gift; I wanted to focus on the details, create a striking contrast, and make use of the light streaming through the door to add that dramatic touch that I love so much in black and white photos.

Hice las fotografías un día antes de darle el regalo; quería centrarme en los detalles, generar un contraste llamativo y aprovechar la luz que se filtraba por la puerta para ese toque más dramático que tanto me gusta en las fotografías en blanco y negro.

That’s all for today; these are a bit different from my usual photos, but I think it’s interesting to focus on those details as well, and since I’d never photographed pipe cleaners before, I found those close-ups quite interesting.
