Monomad: Boys practicing skateboarding [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

A couple of days ago, I went back to the skatepark; this time, I wanted to take pictures of the people skating there. On other occasions, I had gone and there were only a couple of people, so I didn't take any photos, but this time there were lots of people, so I hope you enjoy these photos.

Hace un par de días regresé al skatepark; en esta ocasión tenía intenciones de hacerles fotografías a los que estaban patinando ahí. En otras ocasiones había ido y solo había un par de personas y no hacía fotos, pero en esta ocasión sí que había muchos; por eso, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

I take most of my photos with skaters inside the skatepark, and although I did that this time too, I also allowed myself to try other perspectives, and here are some photos of skaters practicing outside the skatepark. They are not as skilled as the ones I usually share, but that's how you always have to start: practice and practice, especially if you make the most of your time with your friends and have fun in the process.

La mayoría de fotografías las hago con los patinadores dentro del skatepark y, si bien en esta ocasión también lo hice, me permití también otras perspectivas y aquí las fotografías son de algunos practicando fuera del skatepark. Estos sí no son tan expertos como los que suelo compartir, pero siempre se debe empezar así, practicar y practicar, más si aprovechas el tiempo con tus amigos y te diviertes en el proceso.

Taking this type of photograph is always a challenge; trying to freeze the moment takes away a little light, especially if you don't have a very bright lens. That's why I took advantage of a small ray of light filtering in the background, as these photographs were taken at sunset, just as the light was about to fade, and I must say that it helped a lot with the final result.

Hacer este tipo de fotografías siempre es un reto; intentar congelar el momento te resta un poco de luz y más si no tienes un lente tan luminoso, por eso aproveché un pequeño rayo de luz que se filtraba al fondo, ya que estas fotografías fueron en el atardecer, justo cuando ya estaba por acabarse la luz, y debo decir que ayudó bastante al resultado final.
