Monomad: Black and white street scenes [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy start to the week to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are feeling great today. I’m sharing some street photos featuring plays of light and shadow; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz inicio de semana para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que tuvieran un excelente fin de semana y que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. Les comparto algunas fotografías callejeras con juegos de luces y sombras; espero que las disfruten.

It’s interesting how such ordinary moments can be interpreted differently when captured in a photograph; it’s a curious way to tell a story or perhaps to create a story from it. That’s the beauty of preserving that moment for eternity: a moment, an emotion, and a story.

Es interesante cómo momentos tan cotidianos pueden ser interpretados de una manera distinta cuando son congelados en una fotografía; es una manera curiosa de contar una historia o quizás de crear una historia a raíz de ello. Es la belleza de lograr guardar ese momento por la eternidad, un momento, una emoción y una historia.

When you take photos on the street, there are many things that can distract the eye; that’s why viewing them in black and white is the finishing touch, it allows you to focus your attention exclusively on the subjects, which are varied these days, including a cute dog wandering from one place to another.

Cuando haces fotos en las calles, hay muchas cosas que pueden distraer la atención de la mirada; por eso, verlas en blanco y negro es el toque final, permite centrar tu atención exclusivamente en los protagonistas, los cuales son variados el día de hoy, incluyendo un lindo perro que iba de un lugar a otro.
