Monomad: An urban setting of battles [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Friday to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you’re all doing great today. I’m sharing a variety of photos I took at a freestyle event, featuring both competitors and people who were there; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz viernes para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. Les comparto unas fotos variadas que hice en un evento de freestyle, desde competidores y también personas que se encontraban allí; espero que las disfruten.

It’s always interesting to be at events and take in everything around you, from people having fun, some competing, or simply observing what’s nearby, like in the last photo where you can see a building near the event venue; I found it very striking, which is why I took the picture.

Siempre es interesante el estar en los eventos y ver todo lo que te rodea, desde personas disfrutando, algunos compitiendo o simplemente ver aquello que hay cerca, como la última fotografía donde apreciarán un edificio cerca de donde se estaba realizando el evento; me parecía muy llamativo y por eso hice la fotografía.

While I was taking photos, a friend who’s also into photography asked to borrow my camera and took a picture of me, so I’m making an appearance in this post once again. It’s weird to see myself from someone else’s perspective, but I ended up liking the photo just the same.

Mientras hacía fotos, un amigo que también practica fotografía me pidió la cámara y me hizo una foto, así que hago acto de presencia en esta publicación una vez más. Es raro verme desde la perspectiva de alguien más, pero me terminó gustando la fotografía de igual manera.
