Monomad: A fast caterpillar [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

From a very young age, insects caught my attention. I suppose the curiosity you have as a child is quite normal, which is why I always liked to appreciate any small animal that appeared around me, and over the years this has continued to capture my attention. That's why I want to share some photos I took of this caterpillar with you. I hope you like them.

Desde muy pequeño los insectos llamaban mi atención, supongo que la curiosidad que se tiene de pequeño es bastante normal, por eso siempre me gustaba apreciar a cualquier pequeño animal que se apareciera por allí y eso con el paso de los años sigue captando mi atención, por eso quiero compartirles algunas fotografías que hice a esta oruga, espero que les gusten.

One would think that taking pictures of small insects would not be that complicated, as they usually stay quite still most of the time, but this caterpillar was not like that. It moved from one place to another and, as it constantly moved its whole body, it was a little difficult to focus perfectly, but I managed to take some well-focused photos.

Uno pensaría que hacer fotografías a insectos pequeños no sería tan complicado, en la mayoría de ocasiones suelen quedarse bastante quietos, pero esta oruga no fue así, iba de un lugar a otro y como mueven todo su cuerpo constantemente era un poco complicado hacer el enfoque a la perfección, pero logré hacer unas fotos bien enfocadas.

I took advantage of some leaves that covered it at times to create a certain contrast effect in the photographs, as the leaves reflected more of the light from my camera's flash. I used the flash to create that more striking contrast as well, and to better illuminate the subject on this occasion.

Aproveché algunas hojas que lo cubrían en algunas ocasiones para generar cierto efecto de contraste en las fotografías, ya que las hojas reflejaban más la luz del flash de mi cámara. Utilicé el flash para generar ese contraste más llamativo también, además para iluminar mejor al protagonista de esta ocasión.
