Monomad: A different art exhibition at the museum [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Last week I had the opportunity to go to the Carmelo Fernandez Museum, as they were going to inaugurate a new room with a new art exhibition and as I love to attend this kind of events I decided to take my camera with me, but first I was in a forum about art, once finished we were taken to the new room to be inaugurated.

La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de ir al Museo Carmelo Fernández, ya que iban a inaugurar una nueva sala con una nueva exposición de arte y como me encanta asistir a este tipo de eventos decidí llevar mi cámara conmigo, pero antes estuve en un foro sobre arte, una vez terminado fuimos llevados a la nueva sala para ser inaugurada.

This art exhibition was very different from what I am used to and that is that, at the time of presenting each work, the author was playing an electric guitar and some people who were part of the exhibition began to act, you can see two of these people in the first photographs, it was something very different, but I loved it, making people part of the art.

Esta exposición de arte fue muy diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrado y es que, al momento de presentar cada obra, el autor iba tocando una guitarra eléctrica y algunas personas que eran parte de la exposición empezaron a actuar, pueden ver a dos de estas personas en las primeras fotografías, fue algo muy distinto, pero que me encantó, hacer a las personas parte del arte.

It was really interesting to see each piece of art, the exhibition was called “Catharsis” and this title was reflected in each work, in a way you can appreciate the catastrophe through which an artist goes through before revealing himself and finding what really inspires him, thus giving the final result.

Realmente estuvo interesante ver cada pieza de arte, la exposición se llamaba “Catarsis” y este título se veía reflejado en cada obra, de cierta manera se puede apreciar la catástrofe por la cual pasa un artista antes de revelarse y encontrar aquello que realmente le inspira, dando así el resultado final.

Although they are works of art, it seemed to me that the best way to share these photographs was in black and white. This gave a totally different feel to the project and allows to better appreciate the items and pieces in the new room. Without anything else to add, thank you very much for stopping by. Aunque sean obras de arte, me parece que la mejor manera de compartir estas fotografías, era en blanco y negro.
