Monomad: A cute beetle [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I really like macro photography; seeing a lot of details that I overlook every day definitely catches my attention, and today I want to share some photos I took that could perhaps be considered macro. I can't say for sure because I didn't take them with a macro lens, but I hope you like them as much as I do.

La fotografía macro me gusta bastante; el hecho de ver una gran cantidad de detalles que cotidianamente pasan por alto sin duda se me hace llamativo y el día de hoy quiero compartirles algunas fotografías que hice que quizás puedan considerarse macro. No puedo dar seguridad porque no los hice con un lente macro, pero espero que les gusten tanto como a mí.

I took these photographs when I went out into my backyard to look at my plants and, in the process, noticed something walking on some nearby flowers. When I got closer, I came across this little beetle. I couldn't tell you what kind it is, but I definitely took a variety of photographs to capture different parts of it.

Estas fotografías las hice gracias a que salí al patio de mi casa a mirar mis plantas y, en el proceso, me percaté de algo caminando en unas flores cercanas y, cuando me acerqué, me crucé con este pequeño escarabajo. No sabría decirles de qué tipo es, pero sin duda hice algunas fotografías variadas para apreciar distintas partes de él.

Getting a good focus on such a small beetle is quite difficult; I had to use my camera's built-in flash to capture as much detail as possible without losing light, and I think I did pretty well; in some of the photos, I could even say that I found this beetle quite cute.

Hacer un buen enfoque a un escarabajo tan pequeño es bastante difícil; tuve que apoyarme del flash integrado de mi cámara para lograr capturar la mayor cantidad de detalle posible, pero sin perder luz, y creo que lo hice bastante bien; en algunas, incluso podría decir que se me hizo bastante tierno este escarabajo.
